Department

The People & Culture department in Technology R&D covers all HR-activities such as recruitment, competence development, talent management, organisation and culture development, education and training, personnel administration and internal communication.

The Talent Management department is a new department within People & Culture, Vestas Technology R&D. The team is responsible for providing strategic direction, delivering operational processes and tools for building and retaining top core competences and sustaining the talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs.

In order to lift the level to new heights, we are now looking for a world-class Talent Management Specialist to join our team working out of Århus (DK) covering Vestas Technology globally. The person we are looking for is highly skilled and experienced within the areas of assessing, developing and managing an internal talent pipeline.

Responsibilities and Tasks

You will be involved in developing, implementing and securing capitalization of our talent management concepts, processes and tools and driving them to new levels of effectiveness. This includes:

·         Be an assessor and performance coach for the talents and their managers conducting talent assessments and feedback, co-creating development plans, anchored by psychometric tests, business reasoning and 360° feedback

·         Manage own talent portfolio providing performance coaching, transition support and up-stream reporting.

·         Develop methods and processes for functional acceleration, i.e. Rotation and settlement.

·         Develop functional and regional talent program initiatives

·         Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and industry trends within talent management to ensure latest thinking is incorporated as appropriate.

Qualifications and Work Experience

You are an experienced HR professional well versed in Talent Management and Development with a proven experience in developing, managing and sourcing talent. Furthermore we expect you to have:

·         Strong experience with assessment, feedback and performance coaching

·         HR related theoretical background on a master level or equivalent

·         Experience from large, international companies and fluent in English

·         Strong experience in the use of psychometric tools and potential evaluation

·         A global mindset and excellent communication skills across different levels within the organization and across multiple cultures

·         Good business understanding with a strong ability to transfer knowledge into business value.

·         Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a structured manner

·         A positive, energetic and self-starting attitude and ability to sustain momentum

·         A result-oriented approach

Additional Information

The primary working place is Aarhus (DK). Due to global activities some travel time is to be expected.
